The Power of Improv Workshops

An Improv Workshop may sound like a who’s-line-is-it-anyway event with a side dish of embarrassment and a sprinkle of humiliation. I can assure you…IT IS NOT.

I use improv games in team workshops to improve collaboration and to facilitate healthy team dynamics and I have never been disappointed.

The skills you practice when you participate in improv games are the exact skills you need to participate as a contributing member of a healthy team. The games seamlessly imitate team-life and provide a unique platform for experimentation, exploration and discovery.

Improv workshops are aimed at discovering and building healthy team dynamics through interactive games. Each game is only a few minutes long and the discovery happens in the debrief after games.

The greatest value-add experienced by teams using improv games for team development is having the unique opportunity to experience themselves and their colleagues in uncertain situations without real-life consequences. Research in Learning and Education has proven without a doubt that learning happens when people are having fun. This is a way to learn from and with your team while having fun.
